Who you are buying from

This store is operated by Sijie Wang, a sole proprietorship based in Ontario, Canada, trading as Elio Marchetti. "We", "us" and "our" refer to that business. Sijie Wang is the party you contract with when you place an order. By using this site or buying from it you agree to these terms.

We are a retailer, not a manufacturer

We do not own a factory or a workshop. Most of our catalogue is sourced from Radilum, a lighting manufacturer and exporter, and orders are fulfilled and shipped from their facilities. Product specifications and much of the product photography on this site are supplied to us by Radilum and published as provided. We do not independently measure or test them. Our Sourcing and Suppliers page at eliomarchetti.com/pages/sourcing sets this out in full and forms part of these terms.

If a specification matters to your installation, write to us before you order and we will confirm it with the supplier in writing.

Products, materials and images

We have made every effort to display colours and images accurately. Some of our fixtures use natural materials including alabaster, travertine, marble and onyx, cut from natural blocks. Where that is the case, veining, colour and translucency vary from piece to piece and the piece you receive will not be identical to the one photographed. That variation is a property of the material and is not a defect. Other fixtures use glass or composite materials made to resemble stone, and the product page says so.

We do not claim electrical safety certification for any fixture unless the certificate and its file number appear on that product page. If you need a certified fixture for a permitted or inspected installation, write to us with the model before ordering and we will tell you what documentation exists.

Our fixtures are decorative lighting products. Hardwired fixtures should be installed by a licensed electrician in accordance with local electrical code. We are not responsible for loss or damage arising from improper installation.

[WARRANTY: if you offer one, state it here, for example "We warrant fixtures against manufacturing defects for 12 months from delivery." If you do not offer one, delete this paragraph and the statutory rights paragraph below still protects the customer.]

Orders and pricing

Prices are in [CURRENCY SHOWN AT CHECKOUT] and may change without notice. We may modify or discontinue a product at any time. When you place an order you are making an offer to buy, which we accept when we confirm the order. We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, and where we cancel an order you have already paid for we refund it in full.

Posted prices do not include import duties, taxes or customs charges applied by the destination country. Those are set by that country and are your responsibility as the recipient.

Shipping and returns

Lead times, delivery and tracking are in our Shipping policy. Returns, the return window, where returns are sent and who pays for them are in our Return and refund policy. Both form part of these terms. Please read the return policy before ordering, because returns are sent internationally.

Accuracy, errors and omissions

Information on this site may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to descriptions, pricing, promotions, shipping charges, transit times or availability. We may correct errors and change, update or cancel orders where information was inaccurate, including after you have ordered. Where we cancel on that basis we refund you in full.

Your account

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information, and to keep it updated so we can complete your order and contact you.

Intellectual property

The design, text and arrangement of this site are owned by us or our licensors. You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial use. Product photography supplied by our suppliers remains their property and is used with permission.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law we do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error free, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the site or products bought through it. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
