Pendant Lamp
The piece
Natural Alabaster · Aluminum Base · USB Rechargeable
A cordless table lamp built around a hand-cut natural alabaster shade and a slim aluminum base. No outlet required — the built-in battery charges via USB and the lamp lifts off its base to move freely between dining table, bedside, bookshelf, or outdoor patio table.
The alabaster glows from within when lit, revealing the stone's translucent veining pattern — every shade is unique, with subtle white-grey markings and occasional warm earthy tones. A small object that quietly transforms the surface it sits on.

Choose a small sphere or a larger cylinder shade, in white or brown aluminum base.
Base Color — Choose at Checkout
White
Powder-coated white aluminum base with a fine textured finish. Disappears against neutral surfaces — pairs with any palette.
Brown
Warm brown aluminum base with a fine textured finish. Reads as bronze or aged wood — pairs with leather, walnut, and warm-tone interiors.
Each alabaster shade is unique. Because the shade is cut from natural stone, the veining and translucency pattern will differ from the photographs shown — that individuality is part of the design, not a defect.

FAQ
How does it charge? +
The base contains a USB charging port. Plug the included 39.4" (100 cm) cable into the base and into any standard USB power source (laptop, USB wall adapter, power bank). Charging input is 5V 2A. A USB wall adapter is not included — most households already have one.
Can I use it outdoors? +
The lamp is rated IP20 — suitable for sheltered outdoor use (covered patio, balcony table, picnic in fair weather), but not waterproof. Do not leave it in rain, near pools or fountains, or in direct prolonged sunlight (UV can affect the alabaster's color over time).
Will my alabaster shade look exactly like the photo? +
No — alabaster is natural stone, and every shade has its own unique veining pattern. Yours will share the same warm cream character as the photos, but the specific markings will be one-of-a-kind. The shape (sphere or cylinder) follows the size you choose.
Why can't it ship to my country? +
The built-in lithium battery is subject to international shipping restrictions for air freight. We currently support Japan, Australia, the EU, and the US through approved carriers. If you'd like us to ship elsewhere, contact us — we may be able to arrange surface freight or alternative routing for some destinations.
Care & delivery
Looking after it
Dust with a soft dry cloth. Stone, plated and painted finishes dislike solvents and abrasives, so keep both away from them; glass takes a lint-free cloth and a little glass cleaner. Solid brass is left unlacquered on most pieces and will warm and darken with handling, which is the material behaving as it should rather than a fault. Switch a fixture off and let it cool before cleaning it.
Who makes it
This piece is manufactured for Elio Marchetti by Radilum, our production partner for the collection.
We are a lighting house rather than a factory. We select the pieces, specify the finishes and the stone, and hold the relationship with the maker, and we would rather tell you that plainly than leave it unsaid. Questions about the manufacture of a specific fixture are welcome and we will answer them.
Delivery
Allow 28 to 43 business days from order to arrival, roughly six to nine weeks. Most of the collection is made to order, so that time covers the piece being built in the finish and size you chose, checked, packed and shipped. The same window applies wherever you are.
Shipping is free to Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia, with no minimum order.
Returns
You have ten days from receiving a piece to have it on its way back to us, under way inside those ten days rather than simply flagged with us on the tenth. Return postage on a change of mind is yours, there is no restocking fee, and the outcome is a refund to your original payment method rather than store credit. Made to order pieces return on the same terms as stock. Contact us before sending anything back.
Damaged or faulty on arrival
Separate from an ordinary return, and a longer window: twenty days from receipt to report it. Tell us before you send anything, keep the packaging until we have answered, and photographs of both the fault and the box help. Where a piece is faulty, damaged in transit or not what you ordered, we cover the return postage.
Installation
Any hardwired fixture should go in with a licensed electrician. Where a piece has particular requirements, a sloped ceiling, a chain that can be shortened, a specific socket, they are listed further up this page.
