A wall sconce composed of two simple shapes — a perfectly round natural-stone backplate and a frosted glass orb set at its center. The geometry is deliberately quiet, letting the veining of the stone do the visual work. Each backplate is hand-cut from genuine marble, polished to a smooth surface, and finished as a clean circular disc.
The frosted glass orb diffuses the bulb into a soft glow that washes the stone surface behind it, picking out the veining and tonal variation in the marble. Every piece is unique — the photograph shows representative examples rather than the exact slab you will receive.

Each piece is unique. Because the backplate is cut from natural marble, veining patterns, color intensity, and grain direction will vary between pieces. That singularity is the entire point of natural stone, not a defect — your sconce will share the same overall character as the photographs but the specific markings will be one-of-a-kind.

Will my piece look exactly like the photo? +
No — the backplate is cut from natural stone, so each piece has its own unique veining pattern, color intensity, and grain direction. Yours will share the same overall character as the photographs but the specific markings will be one-of-a-kind. To minimize surprise, we send photos of the actual available slabs after you order so you can choose your specific piece.
What bulb does it take? +
One G9 LED bulb (not included). G9 is a small bi-pin base, common in compact decorative fixtures and widely available at lighting suppliers. We recommend a dimmable G9 LED up to 5W in warm white (3000K) for the best soft-glow effect through the frosted glass orb.
Can I order it as a pair? +
Yes — this sconce is often installed in pairs flanking a bed, mirror, or doorway. Just order two units. Note that because the natural stones vary between pieces, a pair will share the same overall character but won't be perfectly matched — for closer matching, leave a note at checkout requesting coordinated slabs and we'll prioritize them when sending you the slab photos.
Can I install it in a bathroom? +
Yes — this lamp is well-suited to bathroom walls, particularly flanking a vanity mirror. Because the backplate is natural porous stone, we recommend installing it away from direct shower spray or steam concentration — not directly above a tub or inside a wet zone. Standard ventilation and normal bathroom humidity are not a concern.
Care & delivery
Looking after it
Dust with a soft dry cloth. Stone, plated and painted finishes dislike solvents and abrasives, so keep both away from them; glass takes a lint-free cloth and a little glass cleaner. Solid brass is left unlacquered on most pieces and will warm and darken with handling, which is the material behaving as it should rather than a fault. Switch a fixture off and let it cool before cleaning it.
Who makes it
This piece is manufactured for Elio Marchetti by Radilum, our production partner for the collection.
We are a lighting house rather than a factory. We select the pieces, specify the finishes and the stone, and hold the relationship with the maker, and we would rather tell you that plainly than leave it unsaid. Questions about the manufacture of a specific fixture are welcome and we will answer them.
Delivery
Allow 28 to 43 business days from order to arrival, roughly six to nine weeks. Most of the collection is made to order, so that time covers the piece being built in the finish and size you chose, checked, packed and shipped. The same window applies wherever you are.
Shipping is free to Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia, with no minimum order.
Returns
You have ten days from receiving a piece to have it on its way back to us, under way inside those ten days rather than simply flagged with us on the tenth. Return postage on a change of mind is yours, there is no restocking fee, and the outcome is a refund to your original payment method rather than store credit. Made to order pieces return on the same terms as stock. Contact us before sending anything back.
Damaged or faulty on arrival
Separate from an ordinary return, and a longer window: twenty days from receipt to report it. Tell us before you send anything, keep the packaging until we have answered, and photographs of both the fault and the box help. Where a piece is faulty, damaged in transit or not what you ordered, we cover the return postage.
Installation
Any hardwired fixture should go in with a licensed electrician. Where a piece has particular requirements, a sloped ceiling, a chain that can be shortened, a specific socket, they are listed further up this page.
