The piece
Hand-Carved Wood · Iron Arms · French Country Style
A six-light chandelier in classic French country farmhouse vocabulary — a hand-carved solid wood column flanked by six gracefully curved iron arms, each topped with a drip-candle stem and bobeche cup. The contrast between the substantial turned wood body and the slim sweeping ironwork is the design's quiet strength.
Each piece is hand-finished with a deliberately distressed surface — pigment rubbed into the carved recesses while raised areas wear lighter, mimicking decades of natural age. Available in three weathered finishes that suit different interior palettes.
Features
Genuine carved solid wood — turned and detailed by hand, not molded resin.
Sweeping wrought-iron arms with drip-candle stems — classic farmhouse silhouette.
Old wood, white, or gray-green — choose the patina that suits your interior.
Finish Options — Choose at Checkout
Natural aged-wood tone with darker grain in the carving. Warm, rustic, pairs with cream walls and natural textiles.
Distressed cream-white wash with golden undertones in the recesses. Soft French country, suits cream walls and linen.
Sage-green wash with darker shadows in the carving. Quieter, more contemporary — pairs with white plaster and Belgian-linen palettes.
Each piece is hand-finished. The distressed patina is hand-applied to the carved wood body, so the precise pattern of pigment and wear varies between units. Yours will be one-of-a-kind — that's intentional and part of the antique character, not a defect.

FAQ
Yes — the central column is hand-carved from solid wood, finished by hand with a distressed patina. The carving and wood grain are genuine. The arms are wrought iron with a hand-applied finish that complements the wood column.
Each of the six arms takes one E12 (North America) or E14 (EU/UK/AU) candelabra bulb — the smaller socket size used in chandeliers and candle-style fixtures, not standard E26/E27. Up to 25W per socket. We recommend warm white (3000K) LED candelabra bulbs for the most period-appropriate glow. Bulbs not included.
The silhouette and finish character will match the photographs, but because both the wood patina and iron finish are hand-applied, the precise pattern of color and wear varies between units. Yours will be one-of-a-kind — intentional and part of the antique aesthetic.
The standard chain is 30 cm (12") and can be shortened on installation by removing links. For longer drops — vaulted ceilings, double-height rooms — please contact us before ordering to arrange a custom chain length.
Care & delivery
Dust with a soft dry cloth. Stone, plated and painted finishes dislike solvents and abrasives, so keep both away from them; glass takes a lint-free cloth and a little glass cleaner. Solid brass is left unlacquered on most pieces and will warm and darken with handling, which is the material behaving as it should rather than a fault. Switch a fixture off and let it cool before cleaning it.
This piece is manufactured for Elio Marchetti by Radilum, our production partner for the collection.
We are a lighting house rather than a factory. We select the pieces, specify the finishes and the stone, and hold the relationship with the maker, and we would rather tell you that plainly than leave it unsaid. Questions about the manufacture of a specific fixture are welcome and we will answer them.
Allow 28 to 43 business days from order to arrival, roughly six to nine weeks. Most of the collection is made to order, so that time covers the piece being built in the finish and size you chose, checked, packed and shipped. The same window applies wherever you are.
Shipping is free to Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia, with no minimum order.
You have ten days from receiving a piece to have it on its way back to us, under way inside those ten days rather than simply flagged with us on the tenth. Return postage on a change of mind is yours, there is no restocking fee, and the outcome is a refund to your original payment method rather than store credit. Made to order pieces return on the same terms as stock. Contact us before sending anything back.
Separate from an ordinary return, and a longer window: twenty days from receipt to report it. Tell us before you send anything, keep the packaging until we have answered, and photographs of both the fault and the box help. Where a piece is faulty, damaged in transit or not what you ordered, we cover the return postage.
Any hardwired fixture should go in with a licensed electrician. Where a piece has particular requirements, a sloped ceiling, a chain that can be shortened, a specific socket, they are listed further up this page.
