Wall Lamp

The piece
Walnut · Antique Brass · Hand-Dyed Fabric · Plug-in
The Nikau Palm — Rhopalostylis Sapida — sprouts singular female flowers, while the male flowers appear in pairs. This wall sconce playfully appropriates that story through its single and twin iterations. Lathe-turned walnut, hand-finished antique brass, and hand-dyed fabric diffusers in earthy hues of white, green, and red — a lamp that honours the quiet beauty of the natural world.
This plug-in version ships with a 59-inch cord for simple installation — no electrician required.

Bulb not included. This lamp requires an E12 or E14 candelabra-base bulb. For dimming, use a dimmable LED bulb paired with an in-line cord dimmer or a dimmable smart plug. We recommend a warm white (2700K) bulb for the most flattering glow.
Installation — No Electrician Needed
FAQ
No. This is the plug-in version — the 59″ cord plugs into a standard wall outlet. You only need to mount the wall bracket with screws. No hardwiring, no electrician.
Yes — the lamp supports dimming. Pair it with a dimmable LED bulb (E12 or E14) and an in-line cord dimmer or a dimmable smart plug. Standard on/off outlets work too if you don't need dimming.
We recommend a warm white (2700K) dimmable LED bulb in E12 or E14 candelabra base, at 4–6W. A frosted or globe-style bulb gives the softest light through the fabric shade. Avoid cool-white or daylight bulbs, which produce a harsher tone through the fabric.
The cord is 59 inches (150 cm / 1.5 m) long, with a standard plug at the end.
Yes — both configurations are available in all three shade colours. Order the same shade colour for a coordinated pair, or mix for an eclectic arrangement.
Yes, slightly. Each walnut body is individually lathe-turned and hand-finished, so grain pattern and tonal warmth may differ slightly from piece to piece. This natural variation is a feature of the material and makes each lamp unique.
Gently dust the fabric shade with a soft brush or dry cloth. Avoid moisture or spot-cleaning products, which may affect the hand-dyed colour. Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent fading over time.

Care & delivery
Dust with a soft dry cloth. Stone, plated and painted finishes dislike solvents and abrasives, so keep both away from them; glass takes a lint-free cloth and a little glass cleaner. Solid brass is left unlacquered on most pieces and will warm and darken with handling, which is the material behaving as it should rather than a fault. Switch a fixture off and let it cool before cleaning it.
This piece is manufactured for Elio Marchetti by Radilum, our production partner for the collection.
We are a lighting house rather than a factory. We select the pieces, specify the finishes and the stone, and hold the relationship with the maker, and we would rather tell you that plainly than leave it unsaid. Questions about the manufacture of a specific fixture are welcome and we will answer them.
Allow 28 to 43 business days from order to arrival, roughly six to nine weeks. Most of the collection is made to order, so that time covers the piece being built in the finish and size you chose, checked, packed and shipped. The same window applies wherever you are.
Shipping is free to Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia, with no minimum order.
You have ten days from receiving a piece to have it on its way back to us, under way inside those ten days rather than simply flagged with us on the tenth. Return postage on a change of mind is yours, there is no restocking fee, and the outcome is a refund to your original payment method rather than store credit. Made to order pieces return on the same terms as stock. Contact us before sending anything back.
Separate from an ordinary return, and a longer window: twenty days from receipt to report it. Tell us before you send anything, keep the packaging until we have answered, and photographs of both the fault and the box help. Where a piece is faulty, damaged in transit or not what you ordered, we cover the return postage.
Any hardwired fixture should go in with a licensed electrician. Where a piece has particular requirements, a sloped ceiling, a chain that can be shortened, a specific socket, they are listed further up this page.
