Wall Lamp

The piece
Natural Travertine · Walnut · Brass Detail
A slim cylindrical spotlight carved from natural travertine, mounted on a walnut-toned metal base with a brass adjustment knob. The angle of the head pivots, letting you direct the beam exactly where you want it — across an art piece, down a hallway, or onto a reading nook. Equally at home as a wall sconce or a surface-mounted ceiling spot.
Travertine is a sedimentary stone formed over centuries — every cylinder shows its own pattern of pores, veining, and warm beige tonality. No two pieces are identical. The walnut-finish base and aged-brass pivot add quiet contrast, grounding the stone in a palette that pairs beautifully with linen, oak, terracotta, and warm whites.

Features
Brass-knobbed pivot lets you angle the head to highlight art, architecture, or task areas.
Mounts to any standard junction box — works as a wall sconce or a surface-mounted ceiling spotlight.
Each lamp body is cut from natural stone — every piece carries unique veining and pore texture.
Material Combination
Natural beige travertine cylinder paired with a walnut-toned metal base and an aged-brass adjustment knob. The three materials read as a single warm, earthen palette — pairs naturally with cream walls, oak flooring, linen textiles, and warm-tone art.
Each travertine cylinder is unique. Because the lamp body is cut from natural stone, the pattern of pores, veining, and tonal variation will differ from the photographs shown. The piece you receive will share the same warm beige character but will not be identical to any other unit — that singularity is part of the design.

FAQ
Yes — the same fixture works as a wall sconce or as a surface-mounted ceiling spotlight. The head pivots on its brass knob, so you can aim the beam from either mounting orientation. A junction box is required either way.
No — bulbs are not included. The fixture takes a standard E26 (North America) or E27 (Europe / UK / AU) socket. We recommend an LED bulb of up to 25W in warm white (3000K) for residential installations. Bulbs are user-replaceable.
Color temperature is set by the bulb you install, not by the fixture. For bedrooms, living rooms, and art lighting, we recommend warm white (3000K). For task areas like workshops or kitchen accents, neutral white (4000K) gives a crisper, more focused light.
The fixture itself does not dim, but it becomes fully dimmable when paired with a dimmable LED bulb and a standard TRIAC wall dimmer. Both are sold separately and available at any lighting supplier.
No two travertine pieces are alike. The cylinder you receive will share the same warm beige tone and overall character as the photographs, but the specific veining, pore pattern, and tonal variation will be unique to your unit. This is intrinsic to natural stone — not a defect.
Common installations include bedside reading lights, hallway accents, stair landings, and as a directional spotlight on artwork or feature walls. The compact 6.5 cm diameter and pivoting head make it well-suited to focused, accent lighting rather than ambient room illumination.
No — this fixture is rated IP20 for indoor dry locations only. Travertine is also a porous natural stone and will absorb moisture over time if installed in a damp environment. For bathrooms or outdoor use, please choose a fixture with an appropriate higher IP rating.
Care & delivery
Dust with a soft dry cloth. Stone, plated and painted finishes dislike solvents and abrasives, so keep both away from them; glass takes a lint-free cloth and a little glass cleaner. Solid brass is left unlacquered on most pieces and will warm and darken with handling, which is the material behaving as it should rather than a fault. Switch a fixture off and let it cool before cleaning it.
This piece is manufactured for Elio Marchetti by Radilum, our production partner for the collection.
We are a lighting house rather than a factory. We select the pieces, specify the finishes and the stone, and hold the relationship with the maker, and we would rather tell you that plainly than leave it unsaid. Questions about the manufacture of a specific fixture are welcome and we will answer them.
Allow 28 to 43 business days from order to arrival, roughly six to nine weeks. Most of the collection is made to order, so that time covers the piece being built in the finish and size you chose, checked, packed and shipped. The same window applies wherever you are.
Shipping is free to Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia, with no minimum order.
You have ten days from receiving a piece to have it on its way back to us, under way inside those ten days rather than simply flagged with us on the tenth. Return postage on a change of mind is yours, there is no restocking fee, and the outcome is a refund to your original payment method rather than store credit. Made to order pieces return on the same terms as stock. Contact us before sending anything back.
Separate from an ordinary return, and a longer window: twenty days from receipt to report it. Tell us before you send anything, keep the packaging until we have answered, and photographs of both the fault and the box help. Where a piece is faulty, damaged in transit or not what you ordered, we cover the return postage.
Any hardwired fixture should go in with a licensed electrician. Where a piece has particular requirements, a sloped ceiling, a chain that can be shortened, a specific socket, they are listed further up this page.
