A compact wall sconce composed of three simple shapes — a domed alabaster shade, a circular metal disc backplate, and a small ball finial perched on top. The geometry feels deliberately quiet, like a piece of small architecture rather than a light fixture.
The alabaster glows from within when lit, revealing the stone's translucent veining pattern. Each shade is hand-cut from natural stone — every piece carries unique markings. Available in three metal finishes for the disc backplate.

Each alabaster shade is unique. Because the dome is cut from natural stone, the veining and translucency pattern will differ from the photographs shown — that individuality is part of the design, not a defect.

How long until it ships? +
Production takes approximately 25 days, since each alabaster dome is hand-cut to order from natural stone. Shipping time is added on top of that. If you have a project deadline, contact us before ordering and we'll confirm timing.
What bulb does it take? +
One G9 LED bulb (not included). G9 is a small bi-pin base, common in compact decorative fixtures and widely available at lighting suppliers. We recommend a dimmable G9 LED up to 5W in warm white (3000K) for the best soft-glow effect through the alabaster.
Will my piece look exactly like the photo? +
No — alabaster is a natural stone, and every dome has its own unique veining and translucency pattern. Yours will share the same warm cream character as the photos, but the specific markings will be one-of-a-kind.
Can I use it in a bathroom? +
The fixture is rated IP20 for indoor dry locations. It's suitable for general bathroom use away from direct water contact (flanking a mirror, for example), but should not be installed inside a shower zone or directly above a tub. Alabaster is porous and will absorb moisture in damp environments over time.
Care & delivery
Looking after it
Dust with a soft dry cloth. Stone, plated and painted finishes dislike solvents and abrasives, so keep both away from them; glass takes a lint-free cloth and a little glass cleaner. Solid brass is left unlacquered on most pieces and will warm and darken with handling, which is the material behaving as it should rather than a fault. Switch a fixture off and let it cool before cleaning it.
Who makes it
This piece is manufactured for Elio Marchetti by Radilum, our production partner for the collection.
We are a lighting house rather than a factory. We select the pieces, specify the finishes and the stone, and hold the relationship with the maker, and we would rather tell you that plainly than leave it unsaid. Questions about the manufacture of a specific fixture are welcome and we will answer them.
Delivery
Allow 28 to 43 business days from order to arrival, roughly six to nine weeks. Most of the collection is made to order, so that time covers the piece being built in the finish and size you chose, checked, packed and shipped. The same window applies wherever you are.
Shipping is free to Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia, with no minimum order.
Returns
You have ten days from receiving a piece to have it on its way back to us, under way inside those ten days rather than simply flagged with us on the tenth. Return postage on a change of mind is yours, there is no restocking fee, and the outcome is a refund to your original payment method rather than store credit. Made to order pieces return on the same terms as stock. Contact us before sending anything back.
Damaged or faulty on arrival
Separate from an ordinary return, and a longer window: twenty days from receipt to report it. Tell us before you send anything, keep the packaging until we have answered, and photographs of both the fault and the box help. Where a piece is faulty, damaged in transit or not what you ordered, we cover the return postage.
Installation
Any hardwired fixture should go in with a licensed electrician. Where a piece has particular requirements, a sloped ceiling, a chain that can be shortened, a specific socket, they are listed further up this page.
