Installation

Hardwired wall installation — a licensed electrician is recommended.
Fits a standard single-gang wall box. All mounting hardware is included.
Dimmable when paired with a dimmable LED bulb and a TRIAC-compatible wall dimmer switch.
For best placement, position at eye level (≈ 150 cm / 60″ from floor) along corridors, or 80–100 cm above bedside in bedrooms.

FAQ

Is this a plug-in or hardwired wall light? +

This is a hardwired wall light — it connects directly to your home's electrical system through a wall box and is controlled by a wall switch. There is no visible cord or plug. If you prefer a plug-in version with no electrician required, please look at the Vietri Glass Plug-In Wall Lamp instead.

Can I combine any body and glass colour? +

Yes. The body finish (Copper or Chrome) and the glass colour (Beige or White) are independent options at checkout. Choose any of the four combinations: Copper × Beige, Copper × White, Chrome × Beige, or Chrome × White.

Which combination should I choose? +

It depends on the room: Copper × Beige reads warm and Mediterranean — pairs well with terracotta, wood, and warm neutrals. Chrome × White reads crisp and Scandinavian — best with cool whites, greys, and minimalist interiors. Copper × White and Chrome × Beige sit in between, useful for blending warm and cool palettes.

Which bulb do you recommend? +

A warm white (2700K) LED bulb in E26 or E27 base, at 4–6W. Because the glass is smooth and clear, we strongly recommend a frosted or globe-style bulb — clear bulbs with visible filaments will show through and may cause glare directly into the eye line.

Is the lamp dimmable? +

Yes — paired with a dimmable LED bulb and a TRIAC-compatible wall dimmer switch (e.g. Lutron Skylark, Leviton Decora), the Nova Glass dims smoothly. The fixture itself has no built-in dimmer.

Can I install this in a bathroom? +

The Nova Glass is rated for dry indoor locations. Avoid placement directly above a shower, bath, or sink where it would be exposed to steam or splashes. For powder rooms or larger bathrooms with proper ventilation and adequate distance from water sources, it can work — please check your local electrical code.

How do I clean the glass diffuser? +

Switch off the wall power and let the bulb cool. Wipe the smooth glass with a soft cloth dampened with mild glass cleaner for the clearest finish. Dust the metal body with a soft dry cloth; for Copper, a dry microfibre cloth preserves the warm tone best.

Care & delivery

Looking after it

Dust with a soft dry cloth. Stone, plated and painted finishes dislike solvents and abrasives, so keep both away from them; glass takes a lint-free cloth and a little glass cleaner. Solid brass is left unlacquered on most pieces and will warm and darken with handling, which is the material behaving as it should rather than a fault. Switch a fixture off and let it cool before cleaning it.

Who makes it

This piece is manufactured for Elio Marchetti by Radilum, our production partner for the collection.

We are a lighting house rather than a factory. We select the pieces, specify the finishes and the stone, and hold the relationship with the maker, and we would rather tell you that plainly than leave it unsaid. Questions about the manufacture of a specific fixture are welcome and we will answer them.

Delivery

Allow 28 to 43 business days from order to arrival, roughly six to nine weeks. Most of the collection is made to order, so that time covers the piece being built in the finish and size you chose, checked, packed and shipped. The same window applies wherever you are.

Shipping is free to Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia, with no minimum order.

Returns

You have ten days from receiving a piece to have it on its way back to us, under way inside those ten days rather than simply flagged with us on the tenth. Return postage on a change of mind is yours, there is no restocking fee, and the outcome is a refund to your original payment method rather than store credit. Made to order pieces return on the same terms as stock. Contact us before sending anything back.

Damaged or faulty on arrival

Separate from an ordinary return, and a longer window: twenty days from receipt to report it. Tell us before you send anything, keep the packaging until we have answered, and photographs of both the fault and the box help. Where a piece is faulty, damaged in transit or not what you ordered, we cover the return postage.

Installation

Any hardwired fixture should go in with a licensed electrician. Where a piece has particular requirements, a sloped ceiling, a chain that can be shortened, a specific socket, they are listed further up this page.
