Rufino Pendant Lamp

The piece

Channeling the sun-drenched, breezy elegance of Mediterranean design, the Rufino Pendant Lamp effortlessly elevates your space with a perfect blend of organic modern style and warm minimalism. A true mixed-material statement piece, this hanging ceiling light fixture pairs a solid wood cone top cap with an architectural, hand-woven rattan basket shade available in both airy teardrop and moody elongated silhouettes. The intricate, open-lattice wicker weave filters a soft ambient glow and mesmerizing texturized shadows, making it a captivating focal point. Ideal for anchoring a coastal dining room table, clustering over a contemporary kitchen island, or adding artisanal texture to a sun-drenched living room corner and welcoming entryway foyer, it perfectly captures the sought-after California casual aesthetic.

Please Note: As this product is entirely hand-woven, the shipping time is 25 days.

Materials & craft

Wood

Solid timber, cut and finished by hand. Grain and colour move from piece to piece.

Rattan

Woven by hand over a frame. It casts the pattern as much as it holds the shade.

Care & delivery

Looking after it

Dust with a soft dry cloth. Stone, plated and painted finishes dislike solvents and abrasives, so keep both away from them; glass takes a lint-free cloth and a little glass cleaner. Solid brass is left unlacquered on most pieces and will warm and darken with handling, which is the material behaving as it should rather than a fault. Switch a fixture off and let it cool before cleaning it.

Who makes it

This piece is manufactured for Elio Marchetti by Radilum, our production partner for the collection.

We are a lighting house rather than a factory. We select the pieces, specify the finishes and the stone, and hold the relationship with the maker, and we would rather tell you that plainly than leave it unsaid. Questions about the manufacture of a specific fixture are welcome and we will answer them.

Delivery

Allow 28 to 43 business days from order to arrival, roughly six to nine weeks. Most of the collection is made to order, so that time covers the piece being built in the finish and size you chose, checked, packed and shipped. The same window applies wherever you are.

Shipping is free to Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia, with no minimum order.

Returns

You have ten days from receiving a piece to have it on its way back to us, under way inside those ten days rather than simply flagged with us on the tenth. Return postage on a change of mind is yours, there is no restocking fee, and the outcome is a refund to your original payment method rather than store credit. Made to order pieces return on the same terms as stock. Contact us before sending anything back.

Damaged or faulty on arrival

Separate from an ordinary return, and a longer window: twenty days from receipt to report it. Tell us before you send anything, keep the packaging until we have answered, and photographs of both the fault and the box help. Where a piece is faulty, damaged in transit or not what you ordered, we cover the return postage.

Installation

Any hardwired fixture should go in with a licensed electrician. Where a piece has particular requirements, a sloped ceiling, a chain that can be shortened, a specific socket, they are listed further up this page.
